## Philadelphia completes the comeback

The Philadelphia 76ers rallied from a 29-point deficit to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-106 on Thursday, improving to 2-0 while Cleveland fell to 0-1. A 15-0 fourth-quarter run turned a Cleveland lead into a 104-95 Philadelphia advantage. The 76ers then protected the margin through the final minutes to complete the largest comeback of the young season. ## A sharp reversal after halftime

The turnaround changed both the result and the early tone of the teams' seasons. Cleveland's 24-point halftime advantage had the visitors positioned to begin their campaign with a road win, but Philadelphia's defense and transition scoring steadily cut into the gap before the fourth-quarter burst put the 76ers ahead. The official box score and independent recaps agree on the final margin, the 29-point maximum deficit and the leading scorers. Philadelphia's next task is to build on a 2-0 start, while Cleveland must address how a dominant first half unraveled over the final 24 minutes. For Philadelphia, the comeback also showed how quickly its experienced scorers can change a game: Maxey set the pace, Embiid supplied interior scoring and Brown's 10 fourth-quarter points arrived during the period in which the home team took control.
