## Funding backs an expansion beyond ad generation

Cuttable, a Melbourne-founded advertising technology startup, has raised A$20 million in Series A funding led by Airtree Ventures and relaunched its AI platform with a focus on learning from campaign results. The funding was announced on Oct. 22, 2026. Existing backers Square Peg, Rampersand and Glitch Capital also joined the round, according to Startup Daily and the company’s announcement. The company says it will use the capital to develop the product and grow teams in Melbourne, New York and San Francisco. Cuttable’s U.S. business is a central part of that plan: in an Oct. 23 release, the company said it had entered the market about a year earlier and that the region now produces 40% of its revenue. That figure is company-reported, not an independently audited breakdown. ## The platform connects creative choices to results

Cuttable’s earlier product concentrated on producing social ads. The relaunch adds a feedback loop: the company says its software uses a brand’s creative assets, product information and campaign history to help recommend what to test next, then turns approved briefs into editable ads. The company says the system can send finished creative to Meta Ads Manager and read performance measures such as click-through rate and return on ad spend back into future briefs. Startup Daily reports that the platform can draw on Shopify and marketing tools including Klaviyo, Triple Whale and Motion, while product stock levels can inform which items a brand chooses to promote. The workflow is aimed at ecommerce and performance-marketing teams that need to produce and test new creative frequently; marketers retain editing control and final approval, the publication reported. ## Customer totals vary across reports

Cuttable’s published customer counts do not line up exactly. Startup Daily reported on Oct. 22 that the company worked with more than 440 ecommerce brands across the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe. Cuttable’s own release the following day gave a lower threshold of more than 420 brands and named customers including lululemon, Rodan & Fields and Brick. Neither account explains the difference, so the figures should be treated as separate reported snapshots rather than a precise growth trend. The platform’s performance claims also come from the company’s analysis, not a peer-reviewed or independently audited study. Cuttable said an analysis of more than 280,000 ads and more than US$320 million in Meta spending found that one ad in 11 returned at least 10 times its spend. Startup Daily reported an earlier or differently scoped analysis of US$260 million across 680 ecommerce brands, which the company said suggested brands needed around 42 ads to find one that meaningfully improved results. The differing samples make direct comparison difficult. ## What the U.S. push will test

Cuttable’s bet is that performance marketers will value a system that links ad production to measurement, rather than another tool that only generates creative. Its U.S. revenue share and hiring plans indicate the market has become important to the company, but the funding announcement does not disclose revenue, profitability, customer retention or the size of the new U.S. team. Those measures will determine whether the new product can turn reported demand into durable growth as brands weigh automation against human review and control.
