## Background

Rockstar announced on Nov. 6, 2025 that the game would move to Nov. 19, 2026, after an earlier delay from fall 2025 to May 26, 2026, TechRadar reported. The studio said it needed more time to finish the game with the level of polish players expect. Take-Two chief executive Strauss Zelnick said he was highly confident in the new date. This Gen Gaming noted that releasing a launch trailer this close to the date is a sign the schedule is holding, though that is the outlet's reading and not a Rockstar statement. Whether more trailers or a pre-load window will follow has not been announced.
