The current search

The FBI's Miami field office is seeking Victor Julian Duque, a Colombian man charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering in federal court in South Florida. Its current wanted notice offers a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to his location and apprehension. An arrest warrant was issued on October 22, 2025, and the bureau still lists him among people it is seeking. The public appeal has drawn renewed coverage this week, though the charge and warrant themselves are a year old. [1] [2]

Duque also appears under the name Victor Julian Duque Tobon on the FBI notice. The bureau's Miami page categorizes the entry as a white-collar crime. Its appearance within the FBI's broader Most Wanted website should not be confused with membership in the separate Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. [1] [4]

What investigators allege

The FBI notice alleges that narcotics proceeds in bulk cash were laundered through fictitious businesses in the United States and then sent to Colombia. It does not give a dollar total or identify a specific criminal organization on that page. NBC 6 South Florida reports that investigators describe Duque as a courier who collected cash in the United States and deposited it into accounts associated with the purported businesses. These remain allegations, and the charge does not establish that Duque committed a crime. [1] [2]

According to NBC 6's account of the investigation, Duque is accused of depositing $459,953 between September 26, 2022, and March 24, 2023. The same report attributes more than $54 million in alleged laundering since 2021 to the wider network, which it says investigators linked to Clan del Golfo. The $54 million is a network-wide allegation, not an amount the FBI's wanted page attributes personally to Duque. Colombian outlet Infobae separately reports the same distinction between the deposits attributed to him and the alleged network total. [2] [3]

Case status and possible whereabouts

NBC 6 reports that nine people were charged in the investigation, eight have been arrested and six of those arrested have been convicted, citing the FBI. It describes Duque as the one remaining person sought in that case. Those outcomes for other defendants do not resolve the allegation against him. The bureau's own current notice confirms the warrant and reward but does not list the nine-defendant count or the outcomes of the others on its page. [1] [2]

The FBI lists ties to Pereira, Colombia, and San Antonio, Texas. NBC 6 says investigators believe Duque may be in Colombia and also mentions Bogotá and Belén. Neither the location report nor the existence of a warrant proves his present whereabouts. The FBI asks people with information to contact a local FBI office, a U.S. embassy or consulate, or its official online tip portal. As of this report, the Miami wanted listing remained active.
