Premiere details
Season 2 of The Terminal List is set to premiere on Prime Video on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, with all eight episodes released together in more than 240 countries and territories, according to Amazon's announcement page, which was published Aug. 17 and updated Sept. 17 to add the trailer. [1]
JoBlo, in a report dated Aug. 17 and updated Aug. 24, gives the same Oct. 21 date. Amazon notes the new season arrives nearly five years after season 1 debuted. [1] [2]
Cast and story
Chris Pratt returns as Navy SEAL James Reece, with Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, per Amazon. New cast members include Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo and Shiraz Tzarfati. [1]
The season adapts True Believer, Jack Carr's second novel. Amazon says Reece takes on a conspiracy running from Moscow to Langley that also ties to his family's history, with the action moving from the Indian Ocean through Africa, the Middle East and Europe. JoBlo quotes the official synopsis as describing a "journey of violent redemption." [1] [2]
Production
Pratt is an executive producer through Indivisible Productions. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media, and former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw and former Army Ranger Max Adams oversee action and authenticity, Amazon said. [1]
JoBlo lists the same returning principals and describes Reece, a Navy SEAL commander, as adrift after completing his revenge list and searching for a new purpose. Because the season had not yet released when this was written, no critical reviews or viewership figures were available. [2]
